Tempo.

Tempo may be the most overlooked key to a life that makes music.

Run, pause, sprint, walk, skip, stroll, rest, and jump are all tempos. The degree to which you bend towards one of these more than all of the others will effect your music.

To run a marathon (which we all are) it takes all of these tempos to get to 26.2 miles. Temper your running with resting…the music plays and you win.

The Space Between.

The space between stopping and starting is courage.
The space between good and great is effort.
The space between web lead click and web lead close is service.
The space between like and love is passion.
The space between trend and everlasting is truth.
The space between hearing and speaking is listening.
The space between hoping and dream achievement is you.

It takes awareness to live in the space between, and it’s in this space where we find the keys to the door we’re looking to open. Bend your ears and peel your eyes.

The View at 5:31 P.M.

The world must look different at 5:31 pm (when we head home) than when we found it at 8:00 am (when we arrived) .

I’m not suggesting you stop creating at 5:30 p.m. – I’m asking you give yourself a deadline each day to put a dent in the world.

Beep beep – its 5:31 p.m. – check yourself.

Dream Delivery.

Steve Jobs was a man who saw his dreams, pulled them from the clouds, and put them in our hands.

We all have the same obligation to one another…I to you and you to me.

But we can’t hear what you hear from the clouds. It’s in a language only you can decipher for us.

So look up, listen, reach, grab, and deliver.
