Everyone and One

Tolstoy once wrote…“To evoke in oneself a feeling one has once experienced, and having evoked it in oneself, then, by means of movements, lines, colors, sounds, or forms expressed in words, so to transmit that feeling that others may experience the same feeling — this is the activity of art.

Art is a human activity consisting in this, that one man consciously, by means of certain external signs, hands on to others feelings he has lived through, and that other people are infected by these feelings and also experience them.”

From day one, the hope behind LTMPblog has always been to be a work of art funded with the daily generosity of thoughts around the idea of making music with our lives. It’s power has been in the possibility for you to think differently, find or name a needed bridge, or make a change for the better. Nothing more nothing less.

This music we speak of , here, is the bridge that connects us to the unconnected. And that, after all, is what we long for, appreciate, share, and come back to again and again. Out of the box we’re all dot connectors.

That’s why I’m here and that’s why I hope you are here.

These words aren’t for everyone.

They’re for you.

P.S.

Re: Your music.

May your music bless the crowd and speak to the soul.

I would love to hear your feedback.
