The Invitation

We are all in the School of Love.

For our friends that have forgotten this or have never been told about this wonder of wonders, our job is to gently remind them, enroll them, or invite them. And when we forget, may we have the gift of friends that gently remind, enroll, and invite us back as well.

There’s no pass or fail here. Anything that feels like failure is simply a comma into a new beginning.

We need you in this eternal classroom that flows over a never-ending riverbed of peace, patience, kindness, perseverance, and hope.

It’s here.

It’s now.

It’s among us.

It’s at hand.

If the voice of one of us missing, that’s one too many.

Simple, not easy.

“Simple, not easy.”

This is a great note and a reminder for everything you could ever want to be, ever want to do, or ever want to have.

Small road.

Narrow gate.

Few find it.

The River

The River

///// Ashton Gustafson /////

This is it.

This is as good as it gets.

There is Something happening here, now, and among us.

It’s a River with no beginning and no end. An endless Stream of Love
flowing over a Riverbed of Mystery.

I’m not moving the River. It’s held, banked, supplied, and moved by Another.

But, I am invited to step in and participate.

There’s only so much of me and my form. But there is so much of me and
my formlessness. The River echoes this.

Who I am and who I always will be is whispered in the wind against my
skin as I move in flow with the River.
