Inertia

The law of inertia states that it is the tendency of an object to resist a change in motion. According to Newton’s words, an object will stay at rest or stay in motion unless acted on by a net external force, whether it results from gravity, friction, contact, or some other source.

We our the objects, resting or in motion, in need of propulsion by some other source (our ideas, our emotions, our mentors).

If only we could allow these thoughts, feelings, and leaders to ricochet us towards the target we originally set out to hit.

Don’t resist the whispered direction from your soul and those you love.

Side note – The journey atop Mt. Everest is not a straight line.

Gift Gratitude

Creativity is in you – but you must create.
Ideas are in you – but you must think and dwell to find them.
Story is in you – but you must live it.
Song is in you – but you must pick up the instruments.
You are foot equipped – run with decision.
You are hand equipped – serve.
You are eye equipped – focus.
You are ear equipped – tune in.
Gratitude towards these gifts leads us to only one option. That is to use and showcase them the way the Giver intended.
Unwrap your gifts.

Don’t Be Fooled

But don’t be fooled into thinking life is a karaoke contest.

It’s not about convincing three to four judges to love your cover songs, it’s about convincing thousands to love your original music.

You don’t need to stand in a line. You need to go where there is no line. There you’ll be noticed.

You don’t need to audition once. You need to audition daily. It’s a numbers game.

You don’t need a yellow ticket. You just need to be fully you. You have everything you’ll need.

Who Pushes & What Pulls?

Two conversations and one concept.

1) Do you have someone who pushes you?

  • A positive push will lead to accountability.
  • We don’t police ourselves very well and, typically, we have foggy mirrors.
  • More pushers the merrier. Gather as many pushers as you can.
  • Proverbs 23:12…”open your ears to tested knowledge.”
  • Pushers love sharing “been there done that” stories.

2) Do you know what pulls you?

  • What ideas, concepts, colors, and sounds spark your inspiration and pull you from your sleep?
  • Knowing what pulls you will keep you longing to be near such things.
  • Here, your soul feels at home.
  • Check your walls, personal library, and most played songs on your iPod…there you will find your pull.
  • Silence is the Great Exposer of what pulls you. Mute everything and listen.

Concept: Inhale who, what, push, and pull. Exhale fulfillment.

It Can’t Go That Far…

In 1990, 3 million of us were using the Internet. This was less than 1% of us globally.

In 2012, 2.3 billion of us now have Internet access. This is equal to 27% of us now.

In 1990, 12 million of us had cell phones. Again, this was less than 1% of us.

In 2012, 5.8 billion of us (82% of the world) now have mobile access to communication and soon the Internet on our phones.

Neighborhoods, county lines, state lines, international lines, and the great waters no longer separate us and/or our information.

Anything can be found anywhere by anyone at anytime.

Welcome to the Give-It-Away Economy (in regards to information)…the good news is you get what you give.

Be open with the costumer, they’ll be open with you. Be closed, secretive, and selective with your information/knowledge you give – they will do the same.

It is imperative that you and your business gets this.

The bridge continues to grow and the aftermath is one big neighborhood called Earth.

Be careful when you claim it can’t go that far…we are still trying to find the boundaries of our minds and so far we aren’t having much luck.
