Reintroduce Yourself

What team won last year’s Super Bowl?

Who was last year’s Super Bowl halftime performance?

What was the funniest ad from last year’s Super Bowl?

Hard to recall, right? And yet it was the only thing talked about 365 days ago.

How quickly we forget the rage, the big news, and the chatter.

How will you reintroduce yourself to the world this day?

In all seriousness, a handshake today is probably worth more than last year’s Super Bowl ad.

The Ball

We’re told to keep our eye on it.

We’re told to move it forward.

Unfortunately, most of us rarely know where the ball is and if it is moving forward or not.

Awareness is the great predecessor here.

The ball belongs on the court – not kept in the closet and forgotten.

Half full or Half empty and then there are the Spillovers

Is it half full or half empty? No matter which one you choose, one thing is certain – half-hearted goes unnoticed.

Then there are the Spillovers…the one’s that constantly hunt for new instruments to write, create, and produce their music. They fill themselves to the brim with awareness, insight, tools, truth, and the new. We follow, love, remember, and share these spillovers.

I’m 30,000 feet in airplane right now…moving at 500 mph…and specifically thinking this thought while looking down – there’s too much to take in during our time here to just be filled to the middle.

Think. Dwell. Respond. Read. Reread. Revisit. Connect. Learn. Love. Do. Create. Expose. Paint. Sing. Spillover. We gladly will soak up your mess.

May your cup runneth over.

This one never gets old…

“The greatest tragedy in America is not the destruction of our natural resources, though that tragedy is great. The truly great tragedy is the destruction of our human resources by our failure to fully utilize our abilities, which means that most men and women go to their graves with their music still in them.” Oliver Wendell Holmes
