Crystal Ball

You actually do have a crystall ball.

It’s called – today.

Look into it.

It’s very indicative of what tomorrow, July, 2013, and even your next decade will look like.

Every tomorrow was at one time a today.

We are all crystall ballers. Look, search, see and report back.

Soon

Soon the media will be filled with predicting the to-be-told gold medal stories for the 2012 Olympics in London.

Soon we’ll find out who went back to the weight room, gym, pool, track, or court shortly after the ’08 Olympics ended.

And soon we’ll find out who is just now going back to the weight room, gym, pool, track, or court in hopes that 5 months of training will be enough.

Sooner than later, we must realize that sooner always trumps later and that our success dishes are not microwave safe.

Debrief: Gold medals are more indicative of disciplined decisions than they are of shear talent.

Big & Small – The Art of Conquering

Dream bigger. Act smaller.

Do the small things that need to be done in this minute.

If you can conquer this minute, then you can conquer this hour. Conquer this hour and your can conquer today. Conquer today and you can conquer this year. Conquer this year and…

Smaller worlds lead to bigger lives.

What Are The Odds?

The game of “heads or tails” and “true or false” tests have tried to convince us that life is simply black or white, yes or no, and up or down.

Big, huge, world-changing thoughts, dreams, and ideas cannot breathe in the smog of 50/50 atmosphere.

The air is much more rarefied at 1000:1 odds, and those I’ve met that have found, attained, and arrived at the 1 out of the 1000 odds seem to prefer the deck stacked against them.

“They didn’t know it was impossible, so they did it.” Mark Twain

Just Say No

To comfort zones that is…

It’s uncomfortable to check our ideas and efforts, but comfortable to blame the economy.

It’s comfortable to read. It’s uncomfortable to read and then respond.

It’s comfortable to stay in your circle. It’s uncomfortable to offer a spot in your circle and even more uncomfortable to love an enemy.

Horizons get broadened, ideas get bigger, lives get deeper, and our music gets more interesting out of the comfort zone.

Just because we are comfort able doesn’t mean it must be the pursuit of all our abilities.
