What are yours?
Success and failure is a standard.
When you gauge your habits and your rituals you will then be shaping your standards.
Overnight success is a myth. Overnight failure is a myth as well.
You either make music or you make noise.
Show me your standards and I’ll show you which sound and experience you’re headed towards.
Life isn’t about demanding perfection from yourself, it’s about demanding certain standards from yourself.
Without a beginning you will never find yourself at a happy ending.
Starting is uncomfortable, but so is never getting to the end goal.
So whatever your goal is – start it. Start it to finish it.
And if you don’t finish it, ask yourself if you ever really started it in the first place.
We think we follow finishers. In reality, we follow starters that finished something.
There is no ‘happily ever after’ without a ‘once upon a time’.
This is the melody of Monday.
What will you choose to pursue today?
Will you work or wait?
Will you love or or let down?
Will you do the dream or die to the dream?
Will you give it all or give up?
Your music – your success – is your responsibility. And responsibility is either chosen or neglected.
Don’t covet.
Don’t blame.
This thing is on you and your Muse.
Is that more of what you’re truly after is available with less of something else that you’ve accepted.

Focus, after all, is more a bout ‘no’ than it is ‘yes’.
The more the world spins the more we’re finding it belongs not to the ones with all the right answers, but those curious enough to ask what they hope are the right questions and brave enough to ask the wrong ones that may be wrong.
Leadership was once show and tell, but has now morphed into ask and listen.
