Shoes

Until you put on the shoes of clients, friends, co-workers, or strangers you will be lacking one major thing…empathy.

You must know their hopes, fears, dreams, etc.

Look’em in the eye and think in their shoes.

Kindness

If you’re so kind

Can you let down your hand

Can you let down your hand

If you’re so kind

If you’re so strong

Can you shelter the weak

Will you listen as the strangers speak

Bring them calm

Kindness don’t ask for much

But an open mind

Deep and Wide

What if enrichment became one of the gauges you measured success with?

What about the possibility of taking what you do, create, or provide and truly enriching lives with it?

Product and service longevity is a worthy goal, but let us not forget to monitor the depth and width of enrichment for the one’s it was created for.

Just how deep and wide can you make your music?

Answer that and demand will always exceed supply.

You and What Army?

Great products, services, ideas, and beliefs are going to need an army at some point to flourish and reach their full potential.

So the the role of the leader (you) is to LEAD the army.

Know your product or service and who you army could be.

Do something so well or create something so remarkable that the army starts to build.

Once the army is built never stop asking them if they are ok or what value you can bring to them.

They are your frontline.

Without them you and whatever you do does not penetrate, connect, grow, or become a movement.

The biggest question today is do you even know who your army or potential army is? If so, love them well today. If you don’t know this answer, do everything you can do to find out by the end of the day.

What They Came For Is Not Why They Came

Sure, the market came to you because it needed some sort of service or wanted the benefit of a product.

But really – if you peel back the onion – they came for:

  • Hope
  • Joy
  • Transformation
  • Experience
  • Fulfillment
  • Enlightenment
  • Thrill
  • Peace

Intertwine these into your products or service and you will have started a story worth sharing for your customer.

Forget about these and your product or service become a stale commodity where you will be shopped for cheaper every time.
