Gradually. Suddenly.

Gradually we pursue something.

Suddenly we’re asking ourselves how we got here.

Average steps gradually lead to an average life.

Scary, brave, interesting, and challenging steps gradually lead to the life we’ve always dreamed of.

Side by side and day by day it’s hard to distinguish the difference between average steps and the challenging steps. The only difference is when you suddenly see how different the places they take you are.

All things arrive to us gradually, but suddenly they’re noticed.

May we be the people that see what’s gradually happening around and in us. For this is the horizon of our hope.

Inside Out and Already

The world you will fabricate on the outside will be a reflection of what’s already inside of you.

The most glorious word of the last sentence is already

What’s already inside of you will create what’s outside of you.

However, most will look outside to complete what is inside.  There’s not a another person, book, quote, or belief that is going to get you to your dreams.

Hear this…you are completely

capable,

worthy,

and already wired with the what you need to succeed.

Success is taking the voice that is already inside of us outside.

Success Algorithms

What is success and how do you get to it?

Answering that is like trying to find the algorithm for the perfect song and the perfect song writing process. Neither can be globally true.

A few thoughts here…

…Lucky is the man in pursuit of something he can’t quite explain.

…Success is the result of soul getting a voice in your algorithms.

…Think more and more about poetry and music and less and less about arithmetic.

The Stars Have Something To Disclose

Sooner or later it really doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks, believes, says, tweets, or posts.

It’s going to come down to what do you believe? Your beliefs will determine your steps, actions, and eventually your legacy.

Did you believe what you read in the skin and bones found in your mirror this morning?

None of this stuff we’re reading or following (including this blog) online is too legit to quit or at least pause for a season so we can think on our own.

Getting lost in the stars will never be replaced by being found on or in the web.

Go outside. Look up.
