Success is probably summed up best in being defined as the road less traveled.
Don’t go to work just to avoid it.
Simple question, really – What are your intentions today?
What call(s) must be made?
What line item must be removed/added?
What deal must get done?
What idea must have its corporate docs drawn up?
What chapter must be finished?
What discussion must happen?
What song needs to be written?
Soon it will be Friday.
Soon it will be December 31.
Soon it will be January 1.
Soon it will be April 15.
Soon it will be a new market.
Soon it will be time for you to retire.
And soon your tomorrow’s will reflect the intentions of your today’s.
Intention is the birthplace of all great legacies, great moments, and great stories.

If you’re going to be building a skyscraper career, be sure that you obsess over the foundation.
We applaud those that scrape the sky, but it’s the foundation that makes the scraping of the heavens possible.
The only way you will be able to go 100 floors high is if you are well founded 10 floors deep.
And don’t become jaded by others that are skyscraping in their careers. Stay with your foundation. Pour it and build it pillar by pillar. Live there for weeks, months, or years if you have to.
The most important part of your skyscraper will not be what is seen but what is unseen.
There a billion games to choose from.
The question is where do you want to sit in the game you choose to career in.
To sit in the nosebleeds is choice. To sit court side is a choice. Owning the team in the game is the result of many choices. Don’t forget, cheerleaders sit pretty close to the action too – so that’s an option.
Just realize those you are pointing at from up high did not wish to get court side seats to watch/participate in the game – they “willed” their way there.

Isn’t it great news that life is a decisive choice and there is no such thing as assigned seating?
Most will career in 1 to 5 games, but who says you can’t hobby in hundreds? There are some games we will prefer skybox over court side seating.

What’s love got to do with it? Everything.
Love is in the business of challenging the status quo.
Without it our souls, our businesses, and our lives are bankrupt.
With it we can orchestrate wonderful music and the world around us will join in with song and dance.
