When is the last time you renewed, refreshed, recharged, and revamped what’s on the inside?

Like I said yesterday, it’s easy to forget about skin and bones in a world that portrays itself to be powered by buttons and batteries.

And herein lies the gospel of You…you’ll never need a wi-fi code to connect. You came preloaded with everything you need. It appears we could all just use some reminders and awareness to always keep honing our instruments that we arrived here with.

You are now free to move about the cosmos.

Seek and You Shall…

…find.

Not wander. Not stumble upon. The ancient scripture simply states you will find.

Let us be people of great questions, and in doing so, become even better seekers for what we are all truly after.

You may just be your own best form of Google.

Gently Down The Stream

The older you get, the more and more fishing trips become less and less about catching fish.

Norman Maclean wrote in A River Runs Through It, “One of life’s quiet excitements is to stand somewhat apart from yourself and watch yourself softly becoming the author of something beautiful…”

I had the opportunity to float twelve miles of the North Platte River today. I entered the stream with the quote above and wrestled with it for all twelve miles.

Life is but a dream.

Author something beautiful with it.

Few yes’s and many no’s

It’s been said that every yes we commit to is coupled with 99 no’s. I believe this is true and then some.

When you say yes to this moment, today, you actively participate in writing what will eventually be the past and you will also be writing the preamble of your tomorrow’s. How beautiful is it to grasp just how connected right now is to our past and our future?

I’ve yet to hear a eulogy quote a tweet, recollect time spent in one’s inbox, or hold high an Angry Birds IQ.

I’m glad I did…. > I wish I had….
