Burnout.

Burnout happens for 1 of 2 reasons:

1) You’ve lost your Why.

2) You’ve lost your Purpose.

Tired? Get clear on your WHY and your PURPOSE.

There you’ll find your energy again.

When The Thought Becomes Physical…

When the thought becomes physical the game has changed.

For instance when you move from “I should call that customer” to “I CALLED that customer” you just made a big leap and a push against resistance.

When you’re thinking “I think I love her/him” and then you speak out “I love her/him” – that relationship can never go back to normal.

When you move from “what if we________” to “we chose to GO this route” –  now you’re pushing forward and changing things (always a good sign).

Our thoughts, dreams, and ideas are the rowdiest gifts the Muse has given us. The problem is they’re all paused until we physically do something with them.

When the thought turns physical this a quantum leap from wishing things to be done to willing them to be done.

Simply put, get your songs out of your head into a microphone.

Alas, that bird will finally fly.

Intention.

Simple question, really – What are your intentions today?

What call(s) must be made?

What line item must be removed/added?

What deal must get done?

What idea must have its corporate docs drawn up?

What chapter must be finished?

What discussion must happen?

What song needs to be written?

Soon it will be Friday.

Soon it will be December 31.

Soon it will be January 1.

Soon it will be April 15.

Soon it will be a new market.

Soon it will be time for you to retire.

And soon your tomorrow’s will reflect the intentions of your today’s.

Intention is the birthplace of all great legacies, great moments, and great stories.

Happy Monday. #LTMP

Dreams to paper to pockets to realization. 2 Daily Actions That Have Changed My Life.

75 days ago my life changed.

I wrote down my Definite Chief Aim as Napoleon Hill encourages us to do.

Meaningful Specific > Wandering Generality.

I now read this allowed twice a day and carry it with me wherever I go.

I also met a guy named Grant Cardone who encouraged me to write out my goals and dreams twice a day at morning and night. It should be noted he encouraged me to write them in the present – as if they had already happened. This is action is full of power.

In the last 75 days I’ve seen more focus, more productivity, more fulfillment than I ever thought possible. Across all lines – family, life, business – everything has become richer and grown deeper roots.

When the dream leaves your mind and hits the paper it becomes physical. You no longer have to picture it – you can actually see it.

Now I’m finally getting clarity on where this train is headed.

I hope these steps can help you in the same way.

Godspeed in your music making.

Further and Further

Now, more than ever, success is going to require that you get further and further from the pack,

further and further out of the box,

further and further from standard operating procedures,

and further and further from limited thinkers and dreamers.

The rat race is noisiest and most crowded place on earth. The problem is you don’t notice the noise or the mass competition of the race when you’re there. The rat race will convince you that “this is just how things are.”

Did Usain Bolt race this past week or just do his thing?

Was Apple ever in a race to creat the first cell phone?

Wherever you’re looking to go or whatever music you’re trying to create think the opposite of rat race.

From here on out, it will only be the outliers that move further and further from all things normal and average that will succeed on massive levels.
