Marbling

Walk with me here.

Take 5 globs of different colored play-doh.

And let’s name them the colors of health, relationships, passion, growth, and contribution.

Now take those five colors and roll them into the shape of a ball.

Notice the marbling?

You’re staring at the ideal metaphor of what you want your days to look and feel like.

Four words: now go do that.

NOise.

No.

That’s the root word of noise.

Which leads me to believe that noise is the sound of no.

Noise is what no sounds like.

Noise happens when the tempo of life doesn’t match the rhythm in our chest.

And no is the only thing fear knows to say.

No is the anthem, ballad, chorus, melody, and crescendo of fear.

We don’t necessarily choose to make or offer noise to the world on purpose, but it will be our offering if we don’t first acknowledge and say yes to the light inside of us, our holy hum, and our forever struck chords.

I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to ever take back a yes.

Conviction.

A movement is always unpopular before it’s popular.

You aren’t given conviction for the sake of popularity.

It is given to move us from dark to light, from chaos to order, and from noise to music.

So you’re convicted?

Are things moving towards light, order, and music?

If so, popularity will be the least of your concerns.

The Choice

There are many, but THE CHOICE that will predict the experience that is heard, felt, and seen and the story that unfolds with you and your music will you be whether you choose to be an artist or whether you choose karaoke.

Here, this is free. Did you know that karaoke is two Japanese words put together: empty (kara) and oke (orchestra)?

You can be an empty orchestra or a full symphony.

Your choice.

And this choice makes ALL the DIFFERENCE in your world and the world of others.

Your Music: Your joy, our joy.

The music is what we get to see, hear, and experience when you bring us the light, sound, tune, and meaning of what you’ve been seeing, hearing, and experiencing.

It’s one big game of ‘I Spy’ we’ve got going here.

Don’t be a spectator.

We’ve both got some joy on the line.
