Few yes’s and many no’s

It’s been said that every yes we commit to is coupled with 99 no’s. I believe this is true and then some.

When you say yes to this moment, today, you actively participate in writing what will eventually be the past and you will also be writing the preamble of your tomorrow’s. How beautiful is it to grasp just how connected right now is to our past and our future?

I’ve yet to hear a eulogy quote a tweet, recollect time spent in one’s inbox, or hold high an Angry Birds IQ.

I’m glad I did…. > I wish I had….

What’s Trending?

Good question.

Perhaps the more important question is where does every trend have its inception?

Love, beauty, experience, courage, romance, joy, meaning, hope, & connection..these are the the foundations of any and every trend.

Therefore, a trend cannot be born without the life of something that never goes out of style. Alas, may we be build our lives, families, and businesses around what is, what was, and what always will be.

There are some things that are worthy our hashtags and there are some things that are worthy of our days.

In-between Aha’s: A Life of Parlay

The more one takes time to get a birds eye view above his or her life, family, or business the more they begin to discover the beautiful and unconnected dots that guide them towards more purpose, meaning, and fulfillment. This is the divine human experience we get to partake in.

I love how Eric Hoffer stated, “In times of change, learners inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.”

May we not boast in what we’ve learned, but eagerly hold high what we’re learning. Humility just may be the most overlooked source of fuel that we’ve neglected to energize us.

Are you brave enough to believe in a world that exist past letter Z? I hope so. And if so, please parlay your aha’s today into more tomorrow.

Our collective illumination is contingent on our individual illumination. Again and again.

Commas > Periods

Something worked yesterday, something different works today, and something else will work tomorrow.

Today, we rejoice in commas.

In the end the worthy goal isn’t to one day blow out your candle in some form of case closed, definite conclusion.

Rather, our hope lies in these little lights that we all have to let shine and in their capability to light the way for another or reignite one’s wick that has gone dim.

Collectively, we can all help each other to see a little bit better and get us on the other side of another comma.

Flames are contagious.
