When you’re stuck…

…are you stuck because it’s safer there?

Unstuck would mean freedom, right?

And freedom would mean exposure, right?

And exposure would mean you would be seen, right?

Here’s some gospel creamer for your life’s cup of coffee to be sipped all of your days…

…we want to see you.

…we need to see you.

…and we won’t be the same without you.

So be free. If you need a permission slip, consider this it.

Expose us to the never-ending you that’s alive in the temporary you.

If life is a lesson in learning to love, then it appears we need that to be individually mirrored in approximately 7.4 billion ways.

Alas, no one has ever tried to be you before.

So try yourself on for size.

We’ll all say it fits.

Words hiding in words…

Passion hides in compassion…as does compass.

Light hides in enlighten.

Be hides in begin, being, and better.

Maybe hide isn’t the right word here…especially once we’ve been given eyes to see them. Maybe rest is the appropriate feel and vibe for this conversation.

Heschel told us “words create worlds”.

It looks like they also unveil worlds within the worlds they create.

Happy New Moment.

Happy New Year.

Happy New Month.

Happy New Day.

Happy New Hour.

Happy New Minute.

Happy New Moment.

May you be a redemptive presence with the blinking cursors Life has gifted you with.

When a hobby turns into a metaphor…

…you’re on to something special.

We need all the time we can get with the things that can facilitate what we most need like patience (stillness and meditation), abstraction (art), eclecticism (music), wonder (astronomy), mystery (philosophy), surprise (travel), and resurrection (chocolate, cheese, whiskey, gardening, etc).

Watching sports will very rarely do this.

Permission to be weird as long as it gets you to what you’re meant to be becoming.

Rules and Laws

First, there are no rules.

Just look at Warby Parker, Amazon, The Compassion Collective, and who the next POTUS will be.

But we do have laws. Universal laws. It’s just how things are where we happen to be.

Like the law of compensation (you get what you give) and the law of the harvest (you reap what you sow).

There aren’t many places left where if/then scenarios are consistently reliable. They are, however, with laws such as these.

So don’t just obey them. Enjoy their natural tailwind. That’s why they’re there.

Truth > Trend.
